Reap What You Sow
Hey y’all! I'm a native South Carolinian, artist, scientist, and lover of life infatuated with beauty from all sides.
My training in both science and art led to my understanding of growth and development as integral parts of life—human, botanical, and all parts of the harvest. It is time that we reap what we sow.
This collection is the birth of my joy, by way of memories as a young country child, who spent time by my grandfather’s side in our garden and spent too much time with red-stained lips each summer. This is a reflection and exaggeration of the beauty of the berry, the idea of play, and every run-on sentence of a memory that is informed by late summer—the feeling, freedom, and fun of what it’s like to enjoy a good peach, and to embrace it before it fades away.
